First try at the blog

OK, we are going to try this blog to stay in touch and post updates on Old Dave's New Adventures. I have to give Ronna credit for coming up with that title, it fits well I think.

I'm new to this blogging thing and don't know if I have it set up properly yet, so please be patient as we all go through the learning curve.

Its now March and a bit less than 8 weeks before I move out of the apartment and into the camper.
I have my residency changed to South Dakota and starting to get all the necessary address changes made and new checks printed.

Spending my time thinning out stuff in the apartment. Taking lots of stuff to the Salvation Army and donating cloths to rehab houses. Bob has picked up John's bed from the spare bedroom and might be taking a few other small items as well. Still have to find a home for the dishes or take them to the Salvation Army.

My goal at this point is to have only the things that I will have in the camper in the apartment. That way I can live for the next several weeks and see if I have everything I need and eliminate thing I don't need. Storage in the truck camper will be very limited so it's simplify, simplify, simplify.

Way to go doll! The truck is much bigger than I pictured. You'll be a pro in no time setting up, like riding a bike. Great to read the blog and look forward to hearing about all your adventures. Stay safe.
Love,
Annette

Great narrative Dave but some incredable photos! I see you or Ronna are neither one new behind the camera.

Awsome narrative Dave and incredable photography! I see that neither you or Ronna are new behind the camera....they just don't look like they were shot in "Auto" mode.

Hope you're really enjoying your new adventures.
